Storžič in the late evening light
Mountain Storžič 2132 m in the late winter evening light. Storžič is the most western mountain of slovenian Kamniške and Savinjske Alps, that reaches over the altitude of 2000 m. Origin of its name is the slovenian expression for conus stožec that implies on its shape and is even more obvious from its old volk name Storžec. Its meadovs are rich with alpine flowers so no wonder that some among very first people officially on the top were botanists Scopoli, Wulfen and Hohenwart.
